Xavier High School exists to assist Catholic families in the formation of their children into mature adults with a love and knowledge of the Catholic faith. It is founded on the fundamental belief in Catholic Education as a way to come to know the person of Jesus. Xavier is a Diocesan school administered by the Principal under the auspices of the Catholic Schools Office of the Diocese of Wagga Wagga.  

The school offers opportunities which encourage each student to attain his or her full potential spiritually, academically, physically and emotionally. It works to ensure equal educational opportunity by providing the widest practicable range of subjects to both boys and girls and has developed a varied curriculum to meet a full range of students’ abilities and interests, providing a blend of traditional and innovative programmes.

 

Xavier strives to involve parents in its activities. Parents are considered to be the prime educators so there is a need for close collaboration between parents, staff and students in developing good learning habits, maintaining standards and encouraging commitment to faith. The school expects that the student and his or her family will actively support its values and regulations.
