A Message from the Principal

Principal of Xavier

Xavier has a long and proud tradition as a place of outstanding achievements in all facets of education. Historically, Catholic education was fostered by the Christian Brothers and the Sisters of Mercy and in more recent times governance has been the responsibility of the Diocese of Wagga Wagga. Whilst the governance of the school has changed the charisms of the Religious Orders continue through the traditions of the school.

We currently have a student enrolment of over 750, with 59 teaching staff and 16 support staff. We have capped our enrolments at 156 students at each Year level which consists of six classes.
Through Xavier, young people in the region have the opportunity to access Catholic Secondary Education: an education within the context of Gospel values, which allows each individual to develop to the best of his/her abilities – spiritually, academically, physically and emotionally.  We work with parents to assist with providing consistent and clear expectations as our youth journey towards adulthood and maturity.

I take this opportunity to let you know that staff are only too happy to assist you by answering any questions you may have about the education we offer at Xavier.
